Hi All, Jeremy.

By attending this workshop has allowed me to focus on what I am travelling through currently, with a greater realization that these situations are generated by past life issue.

Having attended several past life regression workshops I wondered how this workshop would differ in allowing me to resolve these past life issues. The regression techniques used in past workshops were not the flavour of the day, instead these issues for my self and anyone can be resolved and alternate pathways can be established by using our perceptive tools, in other words by accessing the information available at the causal plane, via the aka threads from the mental body allows us to us our perceptive intuition to resolve past life issues.

Craig provided us with a great deal of technical information in relation to how this can be achieved and we fined the day reading for others and resolving our own issue by doing self readings.

The course was fully enjoyed by those who attended.

Love to all,
Jeremy

Hi All, Jeremy,
Those who attended last weeks past life workshop will recall the impact that our Causal has on us in regard to our and everyone's past lives.
Going through my library Low and behold I came across a book titled, "Casual body and the ego", by Lt.Col/ A.E. Powell,so on reading the chapter in which he describes the function of the Casual Body, remember the following are from the book, not my thoughts and opinions.

I Quote.

The casual body owes its name to the fact that in it reside the causes which manifest themselves as effects in the lower planes.
For it is the experiences of past lives, stored in the casual body, which are the cause of the general attitude taken up towards life, and the actions undertaken.
In Samskrit, the casual body is known as the Karana Sharira, Karana meaning cause.
Briefly, we may say that the casual body has two main functions;
{1} To act as a vehicle for the ego: the casual body is the "body of manas", the form aspect of the individual, the true man, the thinker.
{2} To act as a receptacle or storehouse for the essence of the man,s experiences in his various incarnations. The casual body is that into which is woven everything which can endure, and in which are stored the germs of qualities, to be carried over to the next incarnation.Hence one sees that the lower manifestations of the man, i.e. his expression in the mental, astral and physical bodies, depends ultimately upon the growth and development of the real man himself, the one "for whom our hour never strikes".
As we have seen in Chapter xiii, there is no man, no real human being, until the casual body comes into existence. Every individual being must necessarily have a casual body: it is, in fact the possession of a casual body which constitutes individuality.
The immense amount of work done, in the long aeons preceding the birth of the casual body, is devoted to developing and building the matter of the physical, astral and lower mental planes, until it becomes a fit habitation for the divine spirit to dwell in as a man.
At its inception, the casual body, or form aspect of the true man, is described as a delicate film of subtlest matter, just visible, marking where the individual begins his separate life. That delicate, almost colourless, film of subtlest matter, is the body which will last through the whole of human evolution: on this as a THREAD - the thread-self, or Sutratma, as it is sometimes called - will all the future incarnations be strung.
The casual body, as said , is the receptacle of all that is enduring - i.e, only that which is noble and harmonious, and in accordance with the law of the spirit; for every great and noble thought, every pure and lofty emotion, is carried up, and its essence worked into the substance of the casual body. Hence the condition of the casual body is a true register - the only true register - of the growth of the man, of the stage of evolution to which he has attained.

End of quotation.

After reading what A.E.Powell has written, and he wrote this book around the 1920's i believe, it ties in with what Craig was teaching us in the past life regression course, some words may be a little bit different taking into the different era, however it all ties together.

Hope you did not find it too long winded, as believe you me what I have quoted is only a mere fraction of what has been written.
Regards to all,
Jeremy

Interesting stuff, My understanding of this is that its a bit like a museum in a way because it stores all previous life experience and you can view/ re-experience everything.
Is this where you connect to go through past life regression?
So all in a all what you are like and what you look like in a future life depends on the experiences stored in and the development of the Causal Body.

Past Life Reading Workshop 12.30am - 5.30pm Empty Causal Pleasantries

Post  Craig Leith Sun 12 Dec 2010, 5:32 pm

Hey Jeremy, you are hitting the nail on the head with your research. The causal plane holds so much experience for us all, so the abilitie to link in to understand can only increase our awareness, and perception in circumstances of our lives. The spirit world tells us so often about the wonderous volumes of information and support to a uplifiting and evolving pathway. Coming into contact with spirit people using perceptive information, about their realities, means we can communicate and assist in any evolving situations. Does Mr powell have anything to say about the role astral substance has to play in the mental plane. Regards Craig.

Hi Craig, jeremy

Thank you for your comments re the casual plane research I did.

At this point in time I cannot answer if A.E.Powell has any comments re astral substance and its effect on the casual.
I will research this. He also wrote two other books, which I possess, called "The etheric double", and "the asrtral body", all quite thick in content.
will talk later

Past Life Reading Workshop 12.30am - 5.30pm Empty more casual pleasantries

Hi everyone, Jeremy, without going into too much detail, I have listed some thoughts from A.E.Powell,s book, The mental body, and the relationship the mental body has with the astral body.
I have only quoted sections which I believe are relevant for us in understanding the interaction between these two bodies.
I quote,
The mental body of a developed man becomes a reflection of the casual, because the man has learnt to follow solely the promptings of the higher self, and to guide his reason exclusively by them. The colour, in fact, which expresses, a certain quality in the casual body expresses itself not only in the mental body but even in the astral body ; the colour, however, as already stated [previously] will be less delicate, less luminous and ethereal as it descends to the lower planes.
Both the astral and the mental bodies of a spiritual man should exhibit continually four or five splendid emotions - love, devotion, sympathy, and intellectual aspiration among them
A.E. Powell goes on to say,
It may be noted also that the scientific and orderly habit of mind has a distinct influence upon the arrangement of the colours in the astral body; they tend to fall into regular bands, and the lines of demarcation between them become more definite.
A lot of human qualities are expressed as colours in the mental body, as mentioned above, other qualities – such as courage, dignity, cheerfulness, truthfulness are represented broadly speaking , rather by form than colour. They are indicated by differences in the structure of the mental body, or by changes in its surface.
Within the rings or zones of colour described there are usually to be seen more or less clearly marked striations, and many qualities of the man can be judged by an axamination of these striations, and to give a brief example,
Courage is shown by firm and very strongly-marked lines, especially in the orange band connected with pride.
Mystical thought and the presence of psychic faculties are indicated by colours of which there are no equivalents on the physical plane
We have discussed in class the Akashic records, stored in the Mental body, however according to A.E.Powell we store records on the astral plane as well, these records , on the astral plane we can never have anything approaching what corresponds to a still surface, we have to deal with one in rapid and bewildering motion . A clairvoyant who only possesses the faculty only of astral sight can never rely upon the picture of the past that comes before him as being accurate and perfect.
On the mental plane, conditions are very different. The record is full and accurate; also it is impossible any mistake in reading, therefore a clairvoyant, using mental sight, and examining a certain record, would see precisely the same reflection, and would acquire a correct impression from reading it.
In conclusion I leave you with these thoughts regarding the mental body by A.E.Powell,
There is a great difference between the “atmosphere”, of the mental world and the astral world, let alone that of the physical. By comparison with the mental world, the astral world is heavy, crude, turgid, and unsatisfying, even at its loftiest levels. The astral plane is still far from our true home. The dignity of man’s soul demands more than mere feeling, however pure and unselfish.
The mental plane conveys the impression that we are nearer “home”, here there is more freedom, we feel that we are the masters of our own consciousness, less servants of our vehicles. The mental world seems a cleaner and more wholesome world, where we can shape our destiny nearer to our will than seems possible in the worlds we have left below us. Consciousness is free to roam where it will, far less restricted by the limitations of time and space
We may not agree with all of these thoughts, however I am sure that you have found them interesting and though provoking.
Regards,
Jeremy
